I have been to the gym a lot this week and my diet has been quite good, but I have managed to shift 1lb. This weight loss journey has become quite difficulty for me with time. I am losing less and less pounds as the weeks go by and this whole last month gone I have managed to only shift less than 5lb. I have been trying to read on the internet how to get back up to speed, even looked into crush diets...I would never crush diet simply because I could never do without food. I am not even strong enough to contemplate not eating. If you guys have any advise on what exercise I should be doing, diet and calories etc. to help me get back up to speed, that would be greatly appreciated. Nothing crazy lol!
Have a good week!

maybe just switch up your workout routine? i've heard you should do that every six weeks!
ReplyDeletebut still be proud of how much you've accomplished!!
Try not to freak out. This is 100% normal and healthy. When there is more weight to lose, or when a person is less healthy, weight comes off much quicker. First of all, take your weight loss downturn as a positive sign. I have been trying to lose 5-10 for about ten years and I am in tip-top shape.

If you are obsessive about results, then you must know that the scale is the absolute last resort that will tell you any kind of truth about your progress. Think about valuing measurements, body fat, and how you feel over what you weigh. I haven't weighed myself in a year long time.
Finally, don't throw in the towel with a crash diet. It will ultimately undo the good that you've done. The key to good dieting is to build your metabolism. In order to do this, you need to eat enough food to fuel your workouts, and consistently. Moreover, these foods need to be nutrient-dense. Your body needs to feel safe and nourished to let go of fat. Make sure that you eat a lot of whole-food based fats, carbs, and proteins. If your body feels threatened in any way, then it WILL hold on to fat. It's our survival mechanism.
To lose weight, you must fully LOVE your body: no matter if you gain weight or lose it. A loved body will let go.
Thank you guys for the help. I think I a going to stop blogging for a while to help me recoup myself. I will take your advice on board and I will be back with, hopefully, some great news in the near future.
