Gym Junkie





So I have done it! I am officially a gym member and I plan to use my money's worth! The funniest thing is the gym is right opposite a KFC...can you imagine? I mean how could they? I am trying my very best and bam they put out this big temptation right in front of my face!

Anyway, this gym is so beautiful, steam room, jacuzzi, swimming pool..I can't wait. My friend will be coming with me, which I am very happy about.Weight loss progress, I have lost a cool 2lbs this week therefore making me 186lbs. The diet is going very well, I have introduced fish, stir fries, I even tried a coconut! Didn't like it.
Anyway here's to another week

A week gone


So I have decided that I will do a weekly posting every Friday with updates of what my week has been like and how much I have lost. My week has been going pretty well, I am still in sedimentary mode and trying my very best to do my 1200calories diet which has been going pretty well. I had a slight fall when I ordered a very fatty takeaway which I could not even eat half of because the guilt, the progress , I didn't want to see me waste it over two fatly fried chickens and some kebab.... I didn't want to spend the rest of the day feeling miserable so I chuck it in the bin. Yes, that's a first and I certainly won't be wasting my money on takeaways any more. My exercise has been pretty minimal, I only walk to and from school which is a combined 50minutes a day. It is quite hilly where I live so that walk really makes me sweat. I would like to run but I am too embarrassed about running where everyone can see me and too scared to run own my own at night...joining the gym seems like the only way forward...but for now I am impressed with my progress, I now weigh a cool 188lbs, so that accounts for a total 5lbs loss since I started...Yay!

Funk!

So I am sitting in my room contemplating the amount of school work that I have to complete this weekend and instead of doing it, it's putting me in a big funk! It's making me think about all the things I would like to achieve with my life and whether it is attainable....I am a deeper thinker....once I start I can't stop...so here I am documenting it. My mind has gone in mode "you always say you are going to do it but you never do it and you are never going to do it! Argh! Weight loss update... I weighed my self today and happy to announce I weigh 191.4 which is a 1.6lbs loss since I started my diet....so it looks to me like I am on target to my 2lbs weekly loss. I hope I can keep up with this success every week until I reach my goal

There was no need for me to blog but, this is slowly becoming a source of therapy for me...I feel like I am having a conversation with myself

My Diet so far





So I have officially started my 1200 calorie diet and my meals have been looking like this over the last two days: 
DAY 1
I didn't have breakfast- bad I know but I really do struggle with eating it
My lunch was a tuna cheese and onion melt sandwich and a coke =700  calories 
My dinner was boiled rice with sweetcorn and a can of sardines = 418 calories
DAY 2
A breakfast of two wheetabix and a cup of milk =198 calories
Mid-morning snack of Muller crunch corner yoghurt = 218 calories
A lunch of 2 slices of pizza = 362 calories
Dinner of boiled rice and stew and grilled chicken =  476

As you can see I went a little over board on my second day but not by much. So far I am finding it quite okay but I need to go grocery shopping because I have no fruit or vegetables in the house and I need to buy foods that would be easy for me to read calories.I drink a lot of water to top all this off.  Now I need to get that exercise on check too.

Finding inspiration urgh!



The toughest thing to do is getting motivated enough to actually want to go running, or eating the right foods in this journey. My week could be going great but if I experience a small fall, it takes me a long time to get back up and I really would like to avoid doing this in this journey.....so I have been checking out videos on You-tube and I have found a channel by a girl named smile2daytears2morrow. Her videos are absolutely amazing and inspiring  and they really do make you feel like I CAN DO THIS. I am going to be watching those weekly to get my motivation up

On top of this, I did say I was going to find a diet that could work  and I am going with a 1200 calorie intake a day some good food....no less and no more. Hopefully I can manage to fit in 3 meals and 2 snacks in that. I do however struggle with eating breakfast, my stomach actually hurts when I eat food in the morning...any tips on how to stop this would be greatly appreciated!

Girl you got to work!

Omg so I just weighed myself for the first time in 6months and I weigh.....a whooping 193lbs bear in mind I am only 5"4inches tall. This is the heaviest I have ever been in my life....just six months ago I weighed 173lbs so this weight gain is a result of a very lazy summer. I have to lose weight. I have checked with weight watchers that the normal weight for me should be 140lbs top end...that is my aim.

I am going to force my friend to go running with me every night and I need to formulate some healthy eating habits. Hopefully in a year I would have lost 40pounds!!

Anyway in the world news, I am so happy about the Chilean mine rescue...it made me cry.
